I always considered myself a hard worker in the sports radio field. It's too bad I didn't figure that out with my health until later (and even that
isn't great yet, but it's improving).
Eventually, after six years in sports talk in Louisville, Ky., I got a call out of the clear blue from Jason Barrett, the program director at 101 ESPN in St. Louis in 2011. Next thing I know, I was a sports radio host at one of the top sports radio stations in America.
After jumping from St. Louis to Oklahoma City for another great opportunity, our firstborn child was diagnosed with major heart defects at three months old and had to quickly have open heart surgery. Her recovery took us back home to Southern Indiana/Louisville.
She's great now and life is good. We've added a second child--a boy! My health continues to improve and I still do my share of media for a number of different outlets.
I'd love to use this space to give you the opportunity to follow me on my journey through the media and health landscape. Please hit that green button below to be updated occasionally on where you can see or hear me as well as links to things that have caught my eye.
